Andrew Tate’s Real World Portal Could Be a Pyramid Scheme
Andrew Tate is an entrepreneur who has been banned by TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube for his hateful rhetoric. He also runs an online course he calls “Hustler’s University” that promises to teach students how to make millions of dollars. But his misogynistic views have made him the subject of a viral video and an arrest for sex trafficking. And his latest venture, an app called Real World Portal, could be a pyramid scheme.
The app is marketed as a realworld.ai Andrew tate for those who want to break free of the Matrix. But Tate’s views are not just misogynistic — they have a whiff of cult indoctrination. His language of isolating followers from “average” society and his insistence that only an alpha male mindset will bring success are red flags for a cult leader.
In addition to its own tutorials, Real World Portal encourages followers to aggressively promote the app. Members are supposed to flood TikTok, Instagram Reels and other apps with videos promoting the site and a distinctive signup link. When they get new students to join through their videos, Real World Portal pays them 48 percent of the sales commission that comes from those signups.

But most of the followers who have signed up for the app are not trying to overthrow the Matrix — they’re looking for ways to pay their medical bills or rent. And in these dire economic times, that desperation is making the app attractive to people who may not realize the risks of signing up for an unethical pyramid scheme.
