Udise Plus – How to Register a School on Udise Plus
The Udise Plus portal enables schools, parents and stakeholders to get school information. All schools are required to enter their details on the portal. To do so, the school authority has to visit the MIS office in the district and submit required documents. A recognition letter is one such document.
The UDISE code is unique to each school. It enables schools to be easily identified across the country and improves security of sensitive information. Using this portal, stakeholders can view and analyze data, and make verification-based decisions. Moreover, it helps citizens obtain vital information about schools. The portal has been designed in such a way that it will be easily accessible to citizens.
After selecting a school, parents can access its information through the udiseplus.gov.in portal. First, parents need to register with the Udise Plus portal. To register, they need to click on the ‘Feedback List’ option on the UDISE Plus portal. Next, they need to enter the details required to register for admission. They must enter their mobile number, email address, and OTP, and submit the form.
The UDISE code is a unique 11-digit code for each school. This code will be permanent and cannot be changed by the school. The state will review and approve the application. After that, the application is sent to the Ministry of Education of India, which will process it in about one week.
